✦ Structure
What's the difference between a landing page and a full website?
A landing page is one page built around one goal: get this specific visitor to take one specific action, usually request a quote or call. A full website is your whole online presence — every service, every town, your story, your work, and a way to reach you from any of it.
Use a landing page when:
- You're running paid ads for one specific service (e.g. "24/7 Emergency AC Repair") and want zero distractions between the ad click and the phone call
- You're launching a seasonal promotion and need something live fast
- You're testing a new service line before investing in a full site section for it
Use a full website when:
- You want to be found organically on Google for multiple services and towns, not just through paid ads
- You need to build long-term trust — reviews, project photos, your story, licensing
- You're the business's primary source of new leads, not a side channel
Most established trades businesses need both eventually: a full website as the foundation, and individual landing pages for specific ad campaigns that point somewhere more focused than your homepage. If you're just starting out, the full site is the better first investment — it does everything the landing page does, plus it keeps working for you organically long after any ad campaign ends.
